The project is rooted in the area: the Wedding district, once known as ‘the valley of the mills’. The logo had to reflect this history, while maintaining a contemporary and professional aesthetic, ideal for a building that aspires to host diverse and dynamic activities.
For the logo, I created a stylised ‘M’, whose stroke recalls a current - a visual homage to the tradition of the mills that once characterised this area of Berlin. The clean, geometric shape of the letter represents the professionalism and orderly structure of the Mühlenhof as a space for companies and shops, a landmark for those seeking modernity and versatility.
The choice of colours is oriented towards neutral and warm shades, which lend elegance and sophistication to the image of Mühlenhof. The combination is designed to evoke a professional and cosy ambience:
- #252422: A deep dark brown, for a sense of stability and professionalism.
- #403d39: A warm, deep grey, for texture and contrast.
- #ccc5b9: A neutral, light shade, giving harmony to the design.
- #fffcf2: A warm white, for a sense of welcome and clarity.
- #eb5e28: A touch of orange, adding personality and vitality, recalling the energy of a multifunctional space.

The Mühlenhof project succeeds in combining tradition and modernity. The geometric and refined logo represents a strong visual identity, perfectly aligned with the building's mission: to be a dynamic and multifunctional space that reflects the historical soul of Wedding and the innovation of Berlin.
